Breahthrough in Russia with Hawk System to IKEA

IKEA in Russian

In July LYYN delivered a Hawk System to IKEA/MEGA in Ekaterinburg. All IKEA/MEGA sites rely on extensive video surveillance and LYYN’s technology for real-time video image enhancement will be used for low-light camera deployments as well as parking lot entrance surveillance.

“LYYN’s technologywill enable us to monitor the incoming and outgoing traffic whatever the weather and lighting conditions,” says Michael Nilsson, IKEA/MEGA Shopping Centre Manager in Ekaterinburg. “We’ve tested the technology for some time – the results were good and we are happy to have found a LYYN product that is compatible with the original system.”

”The response of the market to our unique real-time image enhancement technique continues to be positive, and today we have more than 500 hundred satisfied users throughout the world. We’re very pleased that a IKEA/MEGA site in Russia is deploying the Hawk System.” says Bengt Sahlberg, LYYN’s CEO.
